Hello shi qi here! (: Haven't posted in here for a long while hohoho
ANyways, here is something i found meaningful (:
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track.
The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way?
Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make......... ........

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens.. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.
While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

ytd went to hq solo tag heng sheng nv come, so is in the end i'm solo-ing most of it cos sy came and tagged a while ytd tagged from 24 hearts to 504 hearts o.o today went to health promotion board to repair my teeth but the appointment was made at 15may. lol at first was 8th may, cos tat day is someone's bd.. aft that went to pearl centre to eat and bought a 2nd hand laptop the lappy's speed was quite ok, but i go in audi lagging like hell T__T how to tag hearts liddat.. sian sia. one person lvl 6 alrd cannot press the keys properly le, cos the com keep hanging although i set the map to studio 81 -.- yay today nv plae game at all as i wasted my time trying to on audi or other games and i found out tat my com didn't update windows tat's why cannot plae game LOL imy
anyone noes why do ppl dream and does animals dream?
last wed aft lunch our class went to LTA (Land Transport Authority? forgot liao) for some sort of learning journey
aft tat was pulled by my classmates to watch persey jackson and the lightning thief i rejected saying no money but they insisted me to go and they helped me to pay for the movie ticket -.- lawrence dunno why wan to be anti-social and he went home although we tried to come with us. ;sigh valentines' day.. whole day at home... why i cannot go sia o.o ard noon audi wedding den went to plae elsword by myself -.- wasted a day by playing computer games with myself seh
tuesday went to find heng sheng and heng chye x.x went to JCube find pipi but in the end nv get to see him lol onl he saw me the com was very lag, keep roll back, no bar den suddenly have 2 bars (which made me look like a hacker)
today lawrence lost his headphone during lesson, dunno which bastard so evil go steal while we were away.. my classmates good sia, offered to split the cost and buy him a new one. aft sch went to parkway there de shopping centre (dunno wad name nv go thr b4 -.-) and bought the same headphone he had b4..
tmr gonna tag heart full day.. ytd called heng sheng to come help me cos i will die.. nv try solo tag b4 haha but i will try learn to solo tag, since u can do it why i can't -_- i miss the past x.x if there is a time machine i wan to go back so tat i can stop all these from happening.. i dunno why since i love u why am i hurting u -.- imy
